Cultivate Community: Urban Gardening Campaign
This campaign invites urban residents to build stronger, greener communities through shared gardening. The centerpiece is a 30-second animated video that blends handmade and digital techniques to create a warm, inviting tone. Every illustrated house in the spot was hand-cut from tissue paper, arranged on a light board, and photographed to create a glowing, layered effect. I then added my own illustrations and animated the scenes to bring the neighborhood to life.
To extend the campaign beyond the screen, I designed tactile burlap kits containing printed information and pre-planted seed pods—simple, approachable tools that show how easy it is to start a garden and grow something together.
